Scholarships?
We may have something for you. Every year, we provide scholarships to our most outstanding applicants. The scholarships cover up to 100 % of the tuition fee and living costs.
Application
All universities in Sweden use the same application website. That means one page, one application deadline and one application fee. Pretty smooth huh?! In order to apply, you need to have the right documents all set, such as proof of English proficiency and transcript of records. Click on the links below for more information on how to apply and to go to the application website.
Cost of living
Living costs in Sweden depend on your individual lifestyle. To give you an idea, the following example of a budget might be of help:
Item | Month | One semester |
---|---|---|
Food | 2 900 | 14 500 |
Accommodation | 4 600 | 23 000 |
Course literature | 800 | 4 000 |
Phone/Internet | 500 | 2 500 |
Local travel | 500 | 2 500 |
Medical and personal care | 300 | 1 500 |
Clothes, hobbies, leisure | 750 | 3 750 |
Total SEK* | 10 350 | 51 750 |
* SEK 10 ≈ EUR 0.88 / USD 1.00
The budget example is based on the living expense requirement stipulated by the Swedish Migration Agency in order to issue a residence permit for studies.
