Hej, xin chào, hello!

My name’s Trang and I’m from Vietnam 🇻🇳 I’ve been living in Sweden one year and I’m a Master’s student in Entrepreneurship, Sustainability and Social Change at Linnaeus University.

Before coming to Sweden, I studied International Economics in Vietnam and had the opportunity to spend a semester at the University of Gothenburg as an exchange student. Besides, I worked at HopeBox, a Vietnamese social enterprise supporting women who have experienced gender-based violence. Through my work with projects and partnerships, I became interested in how entrepreneurship can create opportunities for people and communities, addressing social challenges and go beyond economic value. That experience strongly influenced my decision to pursue further studies in Entrepreneurship, Sustainability and Social changes at Linneaus University.

Whenever someone asks me about my programme, it never takes me one second to say that I REALLY love it. We have many project works, field studies where we get to meet different entrepreneurs in Småland, and lots of good discussions with my teachers and classmates in our courses. I feel challenged but also excited because I know I’m learning a lot about myself throughout this journey.

Running, baking, blogging, and drawing are some of my favourite hobbies. I also love exploring nature, crafting (even though I’m not very good at it, I keep practising!), and skiing. Winter in Sweden has become something I look forward to even more since I enjoyed myself in skiing 😊

Living in a new country has never been easy but also full of learning, new friendships and unexpected opportunities, for me and you. So I hope you will enjoy along side with me this journey and stay tuned for my upcoming posts!
